Flexipoint. The flexible pointing compound

Flexipoint is the modern day equivelant of sand and cement mortar yet has a life span of over ten years with no shrinkage, cracking or flaking. The British climate will always take its toll on mortar and will often lead to leaks and failings in a roof structure.

All roofs expand and contract with the different temperatures and this will lead to cracking of the mortar. Flexipoint will flex with this expansion and does not lead to cracks as you can see on the image above. 

With two options options available and a choice of colours we can usually find a solution to fit your budget.

Option 1 allows us to overpoint the existing pointing and encapsulate it within the Flexipoint.

Option 2 involves the removal of all the ridge and hip tiles, rebedding them and then pointing with Flexipoint.
